Must-Visit Stops on the Steins, Vines, & Moonshine Trail

Just 30 miles outside of Washington, D.C., in Prince William County, the Steins, Vines, and Moonshine Trail includes more than 20 independently owned breweries, wineries, and distilleries. An app invites thirsty explorers to earn prizes while exploring the boozy trail, which extends from eastern Prince William near I-95 to western Prince William near I-66 to central Manassas. Beer is by far the biggest draw to the region, with more than a dozen breweries welcoming visitors. A highlight is Farm Brew LIVE, the region’s first “destination brewery campus,” with craft beer from 2 Silos Brewing Co., multiple eateries, and an event venue. Six wineries are currently on the trail, including Nokesville Winery, Effingham Manor Winery, and the Winery at La Grange—the county’s oldest. And for those seeking something a bit … well, stiffer, MurLarkey Distilled Spirits and KO Distilling have the liquor category covered. VisitPWC.com/Steins-Vines-and-Moonshine
