Entry Guidelines
Check the date
Eligible weddings took place between August 1, 2025, and August 1, 2026.
Keep it local
The ceremony must have been held in Virginia.
(Washington, D.C., venues cannot be considered.)
Make it your first
The wedding may not have appeared in another publication, print or digital. (Vendor or personal blogs are fine.)
Third-party submissions welcome
Photographers, planners, family members, and others may submit a wedding on a couple’s behalf.
Submission window
Submissions open January 2026 and close August 11, 2026.
Late entries cannot be considered.
Notification
Couples will be notified in September 2026 if their wedding is selected for the February 2027 Weddings issue.
In Partnership with the Inn at Warner Hall
The Inn at Warner Hall is proud to partner with Virginia Living to celebrate love! The winner of the wedding giveaway will receive a luxurious, two-night escape to The Inn at Warner Hall in Gloucester.
The ancestral home of Augustine Warner I, George Washington’s great, great grandfather, Warner Hall is set on the shores of the Severn River and features 11 luxe guest rooms, a riverfront boathouse, and a Bluestone Terrace with fire pits across enchanting grounds with centuries-old oaks.
The winning couple will enjoy The Inn’s premier George Washington Suite, complete with a fireplace, sitting area, and deep copper soaking tub, a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolate-covered strawberries upon arrival, and full breakfast in Austin’s Restaurant each morning.

How to Enter the Giveaway
To be eligible:

- Follow @VirginiaLiving on Instagram
- Follow @InnAtWarnerHall on Instagram
Our submission form includes an optional field for Instagram handles. Couples who provide their handles are opted into the giveaway. One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries and verified for both follows.
Prize Details at a Glance
- Two-night stay in the George Washington Suite
- Full breakfast each morning in Austin’s Restaurant
- One copy of the Virginia Living February issue (including Weddings 2026)—for even more love
- Valid for one year from date of drawing
- 14 days’ advance booking required
The winner will be notified directly by Virginia Living and introduced to the Inn at Warner Hall to coordinate booking.
