Arlington’s Met Park is the home to Amazon’s second headquarters—HQ2. The new building, on the corner of South Eads Street and 15th Street South, boasts an array of businesses and amenities to enjoy. The result is a bustling blend of corporate culture, commerce, and green space.
Its parklike setting is where families, pets, employees, and community members can enjoy the outdoor spaces, complete with a sculpture garden, a playground, trails, water features, and a dog run. Amazon’s horticulture team tends to an on-campus garden where they grow fresh food for local nonprofit Kitchen of Purpose. For fitness aficionados, HUSTLE offers cycle and strength classes; Conte’s Bike Shop serves any cycling-related needs; and for fur babies, District Dogs is an all-in-one doggie daycare.
Snackers and foodies will enjoy restaurants like South Block, Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe, Peruvian Brothers, Taqueria Xochi, Toby’s Ice Cream, Mae’s Market, and Makers Union.
Other HQ2 features include skincare spa GLO30, the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington, and Celebree School of National Landing, a preschool that also offers daycare, summer camps, and more.
