Can You Become a Virginia Master Naturalist?

If you love spending time in nature and conservation is a priority, you may be the perfect candidate to join the Virginia Master Naturalist program. With 30 chapters across the Commonwealth, this volunteer-driven effort begins with a thorough training course that teaches participants how to provide service in four key areas: citizen science, stewardship, education and outreach, and administration.
