A quick Google search will show you life coaches all across Virginia—but looming questions remain: What do they do, and How do you know if you’re a candidate for what they offer? Unlike therapists, life coaches usually don’t cover mental health concerns or past issues. Instead, they’re forward-thinking, helping you create a plan for getting the most out of life and sticking to it, targeting careers and relationships as specific areas for growth. While they typically don’t have medical training and their services aren’t covered by insurance, if you’re ready to level up, a life coach might just be the missing piece of your team.
