A bright celebration wrapped in Blue Ridge views and heartfelt details.

A picturesque mountain landscape provided an idyllic backdrop to Grace and Adrian Lorenzoni’s nuptials. Hazy, far-off hilltops made for a beautiful view but couldn’t outshine the joy on their faces as the couple exited the ceremony under an exuberant shower of confetti. It was a scene of pure bucolic charm on Grace’s family farm, Rose Hill. To honor the sentimental location, Adrian created a rose logo for the occasion, which was featured on stationery and custom napkins embroidered by Grace’s mom.
The vibrant cheerfulness continued through the reception, where striking florals, fruit, and candles adorned tabletops. Tucker Yoder, family friend and executive chef of Broadcloth Restaurant in Charlottesville, served up homegrown steak from the farm’s own cattle. Adding another personal touch, a popcorn machine—Adrian’s favorite late-night snack—marked his birthday that same day, though he insisted no fuss be made. Festivities continued even as night descended, with the dance floor becoming “controlled mayhem,” says the couple.

She Said, He Said
Proposal?
They said: It was just a regular Saturday full of regular errands. Adrian made our favorite dish for dinner. When he was done, he got down on one knee in the kitchen of our new house we’d just moved into. It was perfect, and Grace was completely surprised.
Wedding planner or DIY?
He said: A little of both. Our planner, Mallory from All the Dainty Details, was phenomenal. But ultimately, Grace had a vision and nothing was going to stand in her way of executing this vision.
Music?
He said: When I saw DJ Ryan Clark’s Instagram, I knew we needed him at the wedding. He was the best DJ we’ve heard at a wedding—or anywhere!
Smartest save?
They said: For the ceremony, we took advantage of the beautiful mountain backdrop and skipped florals.
Favorite splurge?
She said: Embroidered tablecloths from Stradley Davidson and BBJ Tavola.
Honeymoon?
They said: We escaped to The Inn at Foster Falls. We spent the days biking the trails and tubing the New River. We highly recommend this wonderful state park!
