Gliding into the York River Yacht Haven after a long day on the water is an experience made even better if you know you’ll be having dinner at YROC Coastal Bar & Grill. Directly adjacent to the yacht haven’s marina, YROC it’s as much about the boats moored along the piers as it is about an authentic, fresh, maritime dining experience.
It was once York River Oyster Company, a small town seafood joint in Gloucester Point, but in 2020, Bryce Moretti refreshed the space with a new vision in mind. Its new name—YROC—not only signals its new chapter, but pays homage to its history.

Moretti took on the vision with determination, completely remodeling the place after a cross-country move from San Diego. Taking advantage of its prime waterfront location, YROC now offers indoor and outdoor dining with fabulous marina and York River views. Lawn chairs and string lights dotting the outdoor areas draw diners in, and the food keeps them coming back.
The dishes at YROC are designed to reflect the local treasures of this seafood hotspot while bringing in Californian influence to complete the West Coast-meets-East Coast vibe. Classics like the Seafood Boil, Gumbo, and Fish ‘n’ Chips are matched with innovations like Mac ‘n’ Cheese Eggrolls and a Scallop Volcano. Al fresco dining is enhanced with sunset views, tropical craft cocktails, and the area’s iconic oysters. YROC’s Little Pirates kids’ menu, brunch menu, and catering menu all complement the restaurant’s standard dishes. Boat or no boat, this is the place to be. YROCBarandGrill.com
