A cherished local pub reopens in NoVa

Arlington’s beloved Irish pub, Ireland’s Four Courts, was a community hallmark for years. In August 2022, a car plowed into the building, resulting in more than a dozen injuries, a massive fire, and damage that forced the business to close its doors indefinitely. Regulars, residents, and even competing Irish pubs alike rallied, raising nearly $100,000 to assist in reopening efforts.

Renovations and rebuilding began, bolstered by the outpouring of community love. More than a year later, the pub is back—supplied with plenty of Guinness, corned beef and cabbage, karaoke and trivia nights, and a taste of authentic Ireland once again. Four Courts welcomed customers back in September with a preview dinner for first responders and those injured in the crash to inaugurate the refurbished dining room. Fresh, modern furnishings and a new draft beer system complemented its new look, with a stylish green and gold-accented exterior in place of the former bright red.

Today, Four Courts is more alive than ever. The schedule is stacked, inviting patrons to swing by for Beer Bingo every Monday, Pub Quiz every Tuesday, karaoke every Wednesday and Sunday, and live music every Friday and Saturday. With Premier League on the TV and Four Courts Lager on tap, it stands as a testament to community loyalty and good times. IrelandsFourCourts.com
