The festival, planned for Aug. 27-30 this year, uses food to educate the Richmond community about the Orthodox Church and to share Greek traditions and culture. Monticello, Thomas Jefferson’s neoclassical “essay in architecture,” is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that brings the past to life by sharing a comprehensive history of the plantation, the more than 600 enslaved, and its namesake. This year ACAC is expanding a medical program known as the Physician Referred Exercise Program. Patients meet with a nurse, nutritionist, and exercise physiologists to begin a plan of exercise.
