Fruity and fresh with a splash of fun, mimosas are a brunch addition with endless possibilities beyond the classic OJ and sparkling wine. Richmond—a mini brunch mecca, with standout spots like The Fancy Biscuit, The Jefferson Hotel, and Perly’s—makes for the perfect place to toast to this fizzy favorite.
Now, thanks to the first-of-its-kind Richmond Region Mimosa Trail, you don’t have to wait for a special occasion to indulge. Created by Richmond Region Tourism, the comprehensive guide highlights 40-plus destinations pouring creative takes on the classic.
It’s no surprise that Richmond also plays host to Mimosa Fest RVA, founded by Necoya Tyson, CEO of All About You Events Management. For two years, the fall event has brought people together for a big, brunchy celebration. “Brunch culture really enthralls people who are upbeat and fun,” Tyson says.
“What I love about mimosas is that it can be anything you make it, as long as there’s bubbly in it,” she adds.
