The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia shattered records at its 2024 Raise the Region Gala, surpassing $100 million in lifetime grants while raising an additional $740,000 in a single evening. The Oct. 18 hybrid event drew hundreds of supporters both in-person and virtually, united in their vision for a more equitable and resilient Northern Virginia.
Antiques Roadshow star Matt Quinn brought his signature energy to the live auction, while Reston Limousine CEO Kristina Bouweiri took center stage as the recipient of the Community Leadership Award, honoring her far-reaching regional impact. Through the Foundation’s focused initiatives in social mobility, racial equity, and inclusive economic growth, the gala’s success promises to fuel transformative change across Northern Virginia’s communities.
