McGAHEYSVILLE: Brix & Columns Vineyard
Over 160 attendees gathered in support of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s (NMSS) Dinner of Champions Harrisonburg on Aug. 22 in McGaheysville. This signature evening fundraising event, hosted in over 20 locations nationwide, unites people in the mission to raise awareness about this debilitating disease and generate funds to support the search for a cure. The dinner also honored Jim DeLucas, chief development officer and board chair of Nielsen Builders in Harrisonburg, recognizing his community engagement, civic leadership, philanthropy, and nonprofit support. At the black-tie gala, held at Brix & Columns Vineyard, more than $120,000 was raised that will not only provide critical funding for MS research but also empower people affected by MS to live their best lives.
