Yule Brynner: A Festive Cocktail to Brighten Your Holiday Season

Yule Brynner

This colorful, fruity seasonal sensation is “a drink that smells as good as it tastes,” says Genaro Amaya, bartender at Marigold at Keswick Hall outside Charlottesville. And its low ABV offers a light, refreshing contrast to the indulgences and heavy sweets of the holiday season.

  • 2 ounces dry apple cider (Marigold uses Albemarle Ciderworks)
  • 2 ounces fig and pomegranate simple syrup
  • 1 bar spoon Banyuls vinegar

Build in a shaker, add ice, and shake. Double strain into a Nick & Nora glass. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary.
