Virginia Orchid Society Presents A Taste for Orchids

The Virginia Orchid Society will hold its annual show and sale at Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, 1800 Lakeside Ave.  International and local DVM vendors will be selling beautiful orchids in the LGBG Education Building.  Artists from around Virginia will participate in a juried art exhibit and have their artworks on display.  VOS members will provide lectures, tips, and demonstrations about growing orchids in your home.  Hobbyists and professional growers will be bringing plants for official American Orchid Society judging.  Orchid Societies from the DVM will create dazzling displays that showcase their TASTE FOR ORCHIDS. Show will be held Friday, February 28 1-5PM Saturday, March 1 9AM – 5PM Sunday, March 2 9 AM – 3 PM Sale and Art Exhibit are free in the Kelley Education Building.  Displays are included with the cost of garden admission. $20 Adults, $15 Seniors/Military, $10 Children 4-12.  Garden Members Free.
