Sounds of Summer Concert Series with Bon Journey

Formed in the spring of 2006, Bon Journey was the first cover band of its kind. With essentially four lead singers, this vocal powerhouse brings you the music of two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted bands. Playing the hits of Bon Jovi and Journey, they’re sure to be a crowd pleaser! Based in Pittsburgh, Bon Journey features electrifying vocals and stage presence to create a performance that will make you want to rock and roll all night!

Yorktown’s Sounds of Summer concert series runs Thursday nights from 6:30 to 9 p.m. through August 14. We’ve got bands playing beach music, country, jazz, R&B, popular hits, and so much more!

Before the entertainment begins, visitors are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy dinner or dessert at any of Historic Yorktown’s waterfront restaurants including Water Street Grille, Carrot Tree, Umi Sushi, Ben & Jerry’s, and Yorktown Pub. Guests are permitted to bring their own blankets, chairs, and small coolers. No tables, umbrellas, or tents are allowed. There will be a dance floor, friendly games of corn hole, and tasty, to-go meals from rotating food trucks available for purchase. Free parking is available at designated public parking lots throughout town, including York Hall, York-Poquoson Courthouse, and County Administration Building. The complimentary, wheelchair-accessible Yorktown Trolley runs from 5 to 9:30 p.m. during every concert with a modified route that still includes some of the stops on the outskirts of town.
