Moving Art One: Passion and Power at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts   Richmond Ballet returns to VMFA to kick off the 2025/26 season with Moving Art One, featuring two passionate and powerful ballets.     Wild Sweet Love Choreography by Trey McIntyre Music by Queen, Lou Reed, Roberta Flack, Jose Alfredo Jimenez, The Partridge Family, Felix Mendelssohn, The Zombies Trey McIntyre’s Wild Sweet Love bursts onto the stage in a whirlwind of romance, heartbreak, and humor. Set to an eclectic soundtrack featuring pop and rock songs, this electrifying contemporary ballet delivers an irresistibly fresh and playful take on the search for love.   Piensa en Mí (Think of Me) A World Premiere inspired by the life and art of Frida Choreography by Ma Cong Music: TBD Artistic Director Ma Cong embarks on an extraordinary new creation inspired by the life and art of Frida – an icon of resilience, passion, and unflinching self-expression.
