A Richmond native, Michael McAdam made his name as the founder/bandleader of the enormously popular Good Humor Band in the 70s. Mike moved on to Nashville in the mid-eighties where he immediately became a sought-after sideman and session guitarist for some of Americana’s most formidable artists, including Steve Earle, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Radney Foster, Jim Lauderdale, and countless others. He has just released Tremolo, his second solo album to critical acclaim for his songwriting. Americana Highways gave it high praise: “… the start of this song of tangled up regrets, the passage of time, and the women who slipped away. The video captures the regrets with perfect imagery.”
“I always like coming back to Richmond to play and see my friends,” smiles Mike.
