Under the direction of Anne Elise Thomas, ethnomusicologist, the ensemble performs traditional and contemporary repertoire from Southwest Asia, North and East Africa, Gulf regions, and their diasporas. Instrumentation includes ‘ud, qanun, santoor, tar, and other instruments.
