Holiday Workshop Series: Painting Springerle

German holiday traditions were brought to the American colonies by immigrants throughout the 18th century. Some have faded from memory, while others, like spice cookies, have remained popular. Visit our German farm to learn about some German holiday superstitions and decorate your own ‘cookie’ ornament to take home. This workshop is $15 per person and will run from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The charge includes all materials needed to create your craft. We recommend all attendees arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow time to walk down to the exhibit area. A shuttle service will be available during the workshop. Each workshop also includes an entrance into the museum for the rest of the day. Participation is limited to 20 participants, so it is recommended you purchase your tickets in advance.
