She is most recognized for her colorful paintings of dogs but is also known in the region for her knowledge and use of acrylics. A cum laude graduate of Old Dominion University, Adele taught elementary art in Virginia Beach Public Schools before leaving to pursue her own painting and private teaching career. Winner of several awards, Adele has been exhibiting her work in various venues which have included Stockley Gardens Art Festival, Gosport Art Festival, 43rd St. Art Festival, Arts Around the Lake, the Cramer Center art gallery at Steward School, Gloucester Arts on Main, Art Works Gallery, and Crossroads Art Center, to list a few. Her paintings grace private collections throughout the region and nationally as well. Adele maintains a working studio at Crossroads Art Center. There she may be found painting animals, experimenting with acrylic textures and mediums or teaching acrylic painting classes and workshops to adult students.  www.adelecastilloart.com   Mike Keeling – My world: Wow, what a place! The minute you stop dreaming, you stop living.” — M. Keeling Mike Keeling began creating art with encouragement from one person, and it took one night to change from an excited viewer of art in all mediums to making art that beings in the soul and ends with a smile. He is content to create using paint and canvas, torches and steel, or sharing life as it happens through the lens of a camera. Mike has studied at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts school; however, his art education began years ago on numerous camping trips in southeast Asia. He noticed light working its way through a triple-canopied jungle or the color of an early morning fog when the sun first hits it. He was inspired by the feeling of being alive and bombarded with so many color sensations; this sort of inspiration has no limits.   Carolyn Kipps is an artist who found her niche painting animals in rich, bold colors. She is from the Shenandoah Valley and came to Richmond to get her BFA in Painting & Printmaking from VCU.  She now lives in the West End area with her husband and 2 kitties.  She paints with acrylics on canvas and her subjects are primarily cats, dogs and farm animals. She has been blessed these last 10 years to have most of her artwork to be commission based. She has made many four-legged friends along with their 2-legged owners!  https://carolynkipps.com/
