Fourth of July at Stratford Hall

Join us in commemorating the Fourth of July at the historic home of the only two brothers who signed the Declaration of Independence. On Friday, July 4th, immerse yourself in live colonial music by Ampersand from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with colonial games, family-friendly activities, lawn games, creative crafts with The Arts Center of Montross, as well as face painting. Visitors are welcome and encouraged to bring snacks, blankets and lawn chairs for picnics throughout the historic property. Plus, take advantage of a 10% discount throughout our Gift Shop* and 20% off on all Americana décor and apparel. *Certain exclusions may apply. Be sure to stop by “Da Mini Hut” concession tent to snack on funnel cakes and fried Oreos, or grab a refreshing Hawaiian shaved ice–Da Hula Hut’s famous treat. Extend the commemoration into a rejuvenating retreat with a 20% discount on accommodation at the Cheek and Astor Guest Houses, as well as our charming one, two, or three-bedroom log cabins from July 1st to 5th.
