Fabulous Fourth at Ferry Farm

Celebrate Independence Day, by George, at Washington’s boyhood home! Tour the Washington House, take a selfie with George Washington, learn about archaeology at Ferry Farm, watch a patriotic flag retirement ceremony, visit food trucks, interact with historic reenactors, hear festive music, view living history demonstrations, make crafts, play games, and much more for the whole family. 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. 11:00 a.m. – Flag Retirement Ceremony Just $1.00 per person ages 3 and up. Purchase tickets on-site; no advance ticket sales. Free shuttle parking will be at the Eagles Lodge on Cool Springs Road and Patawomeck Museum & Cultural Center.
