From the Archives: Lee Dufford Harley

Known affectionately as “Duff”, friends and family described Lee D. Harley as a patriotic man with a penchant for aviation. Major Harley was shot down over Laos on May 18, 1966, and he remains missing in action. Join Virginia War Memorial Archivist, Sylvia Marshall as she talks about the life and legacy of Major Lee Dufford Harley, a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Silver Star, the Air Medal, and the Purple Heart.
