We’ve been mulling lately over how to handle the phrase “turn of the century.” The 21st century is simply too new for it, so, by executive decision, we declare that anything described as “turn-of-the-century” still refers to the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. Herewith, some turn-of-the-century depictions of turn-of-the-century people enjoying springtime near the turn of the century.
