Careers with Virginia Living

Editorial Internships at Virginia Living

Are you eager to sharpen your editorial skills while gaining real-world experience in both digital and print publishing? Virginia Living magazine offers editorial internships year-round, providing hands-on experience in writing, editing, pitching, SEO, and more.

Interns work closely with our editorial team on a range of projects, contributing to both print and online content creation. Our office is located in downtown Richmond, and while our business hours are 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., we offer flexible scheduling within those hours.

To apply, email [email protected] with your resume, at least three published clips, a brief summary of your career ambitions and interests, and your availability. Please include “INTERNSHIP” in the subject line of your email.

While internships are unpaid, they offer an invaluable opportunity to build your portfolio, reach a large audience, and gain a true understanding of the publishing world. If you’re ready to take the next step in your editorial career, we’d love to hear from you!
