The World War II Photography of Margaret Bourke-White

Margaret Bourke-White was the first American female war photojournalist.  Before the fighting began, she was present as the Nazis marched into Czechoslovakia in 1938, ending all hope for “peace in our time.”  By the close of WWII, she was with Patton’s Third Army and witnessed the liberation of the Buchenwald Concentration Camp.  Join VWM Education Director Jim Triesler as he reflects on the career of an amazing photojournalist.   Although free, register early for this ONLINE ONLY event:  vawarmemorial.org/events   Registration: https://bit.ly/4jPkJTy
