The Virginia Living Photography Awards feature TWO separate competitions:

🏆 Judges’ Choice — Our panel of 15 distinguished judges independently reviews all entries and selects their own winners based on artistic merit and excellence.

🗳️ Readers’ Choice — Virginia Living readers like you get to vote for your favorite photographs across three competitive rounds.

Readers’ Choice Awards is our fun, community-driven celebration of photography. Entrants don’t need votes to win the Judges’ Choice awards—they’re selected independently. But if you want to participate in public voting, you’re supporting both amazing photography AND wildlife conservation!

How to Vote

Here is how to cast your vote. It’s Easy:

1. Browse all photography submissions by category
2. Vote for the photos that speak to you
3. One free vote per person per day per division (Professional & Amateur)
4. Additional votes available for purchase starting at $2.50 for 5 votes

Your vote directly supports the Wildlife Center of Virginia. A portion of every vote purchased goes to their critical mission of wildlife rehabilitation and conservation.

Q: Can photographers vote for their own work? A: Yes, Photographers are welcome to participate in Readers’ Choice voting!

Q: Can I vote for more than one photo? A: Yes! You can vote for as many photos as you’d like.
