Khadija Mbowe: Arias of Seduction

Painter Caitlin Cherry invites multidisciplinary artist Khadija Mbowe and their production company Operatika to present a groundbreaking performance blending opera with burlesque and pole dance art. About the artist: Gambian-Canadian-American artist Khadija Mbowe (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, vocalist, educator and content creator. Khadija’s diverse musical repertoire encompasses opera, jazz, musical theater and original compositions. As a content creator Khadija creates enlightening video essays for their YouTube channel with over 36 million viewers.
